Hi there,
the MPL is now accessible through a new app for Android, mainly created to offer more reliable notifications, so it can be used more as a proper messaging platform. It's currently in open beta, and will probably stay like this for some time, as some things just can't easily be fixed.
You can download the MPL app for Android under https://mpl.surillya.com/app. Always make sure to download over https://mpl.surillya.com only! There is no iOS app, and there's no plan for one in the future either! If you see an iOS release, you're being scammed, so watch out! The only official source is https://mpl.surillya.com/app!
Known issues
- Voice calls don't work if you're in a different app, and will crash.
- The buttons to Accept and Decline a call in the notification don't work, and rather crash the call. You need to be in the app, using the in-app modal to accept or deny calls.
- The Dialer interface is a bit sluggish, and sometimes buttons don't respond right.
